HELP
WALSH DRAMA DEPT. REBUILD: FAME
(Framingham Arts Movement for Excellence) group is coordinating
the collections efforts for vintage costumes (Shakespeare
era, 50's, 60's, bridesmaids dresses, tuxedos, etc.) and
used musical instruments on behalf of the Walsh Drama
Company. It's a "Costume and Musical Instrument Amnesty
Program," with donations being dropped off that the
two performances of "Our Town" Thursday and
Friday evening 7:30 PM at the Framingham High School.
FAME is the organization behind the creation of the school
district's Fine Arts Task Force, and is a parent's support
and advocacy group for arts excellence in town. Projects
like the costume collection and helping get instruments
in the hands of students eager to play directly fit the
FAME charter. For more information please call Bill Sell
